Easy One-Click Script Live Chat Integration for BigCommerce

If you’re using a Stencil based website theme template for BigCommerce, you can now take advantage of Re:amaze’s latest integration with BigCommerce’s Script API!

What does this mean? No more copying and pasting of scripts in order to install Re:amaze Shoutboxes and Re:amaze Cues! When you add a new Shoutbox or make changes to existing Shoutbox scripts, you can just click on the new “Publish” button to have Re:amaze install it manually for your current BigCommerce theme template.

One-Click publishing now also adds an Embeddables Dashboard for you to easily manage and monitor the statuses of your Shoutboxes. You can view, modify, save, delete, publish, and unpublish with ease.

For those you that already have a Shoutbox living on your BigCommerce storefront, there’s nothing you need to do now. It’ll continue to function. However, we recommend refreshing your BigCommerce authentication by going to “Settings” > “Apps” > “BigCommerce” so you can take advantage of this feature in the future.

If you would like to take advantage One-Click now, follow these steps:

  • First, refresh your BigCommerce <> Re:amaze authentication using the link above
  • Remove the current Shoutbox script from your BigCommerce template files, BigCommerce Footer Scripts, and/or Google Tag Manager if you’re using it.
  • Redesign your Shoutbox using the Embed Builder found in “Settings” > “Embeddables”
  • Save and hit publish!
