New Re:amaze Roles and Permissions for Setting Max Chats and Managing Roles

We’ve updated Re:amaze Roles and Permissions to include two new settings to give you more control over how your staff team is setup.

Ability to Manage Staff and Staff Roles

We’ve added a setting for you to turn on or turn off the ability for a staff role to manage other staff members’ roles. By default, only admins can manage staff roles but this new setting will enable other staff members to be able to do the same!

Set Maximum Classic Live Chats

If you’re using Classic Live Chat, you can now set the maximum number of concurrent chats any given agent can perform. By default, the maximum number is 5. With this new permission setting, you can change the default to either 2 or 10 depending on various factors. Perhaps the live chat agent is new and in training and can only handle 2 at a time. For seasoned agents, you can set this number higher!
